What is tallow balm?

Tallow balm is a rich, deeply nourishing moisturizer made by rendering grass-fed beef suet and whipping it with skin-loving ingredients. It closely resembles the composition of our skin’s natural oils.

Is this safe for sensitive skin?

Yes. We use only pure, recognizable ingredients with no synthetic additives—just tallow, raw honey, organic jojoba oil, and organic essential oils and extracts. 

Where do your ingredients come from?

The majority of our ingredients are sourced locally. The tallow comes from grass-fed cattle raised here in Middle Tennessee, the honey is raw and local to Williamson County, and the vanilla extract is made in-house.  While the jojoba oil is not local to Middle Tennessee, we only use organic, cold-pressed jojoba oil.

What skin types can use tallow products?

Everyone! Tallow is naturally compatible with our skin’s biology, making it suitable for all skin types — dry, sensitive, mature, or even baby-soft. It’s gentle enough for little ones and nourishing enough for hardworking hands.

How should I use it?

A little goes a long way. Warm a small amount between your fingertips and massage into clean skin — face, hands, elbows, or anywhere that needs extra love. It absorbs best when applied to damp skin right after bathing.
