Our Story
Our story begins right here in Middle Tennessee, where our family does our best to live a life that honors God and his creation by consuming and using natural, local products whenever possible.
Our founder, Beth, dealt with chronic hives on her skin for years. After more dermatologist visits than she could count, a friend told her to give tallow a try. Beth decided to make the first batch herself -wanting to know exactly where the ingredients came from - and found instant relief for her skin.
Fast forward a few months to the spring of 2025 when cousins came to visit our family in Tennessee for Easter. Our cousin's son deals with very painful eczema and had a flare-up while staying at our home. His mom started to apply a well-known drugstore brand of lotion to his legs, and Beth asked if the lotion provided any relief. His mom said "No, but it helps our son feel like we're doing something to help." Sensing frustration, Beth offered a jar of our homemade tallow to try that night.
To all of our disbelief, the eczema had nearly disappeared from his skin the next morning. We decided then that we needed to share this wonderful product with others and the Pembroke Farms brand was born.
What started as a simple desire to care for our own family’s skin — using ingredients we trust — has grown into handcrafted jars of nourishing whipped tallow balm, luscious lip balms, and invigorating scrubs for families like yours.
We render our tallow in small batches from local, grass-fed suet — the way our great-grandparents did — blending it with raw Tennessee honey from Williamson County and calming organic botanicals. No fillers. No shortcuts. Just real, wholesome ingredients from our Tennessee kitchen to your home.
Every jar is made by hand, packed with care, and sent with a piece of our heart and heritage. We hope when you open it, you feel the same warmth, simplicity, and goodness that we feel here in Tennessee.
Thank you for choosing Pembroke Farms — from our family to yours.
